Being clever with words is a clever idea

With many of the social media formats that we are so keen to embrace, we sometimes forget the art of writing good copy.  Thought provoking headlines, great tag lines, well written and persuasive body copy with a call to action.

Straight from a magazine, take a look at this one:

The visual is a very rugged looking gent in a suit, with a tie.  Copy reads:

“I like my coats mink, truffles white and my secretaries Swedish. Do I look like I need free conference calling?”

Powwow now – for business people with more sense than money!

A clever strategy in a men’s magazine, focussing on value of product and service, taking away from this total focus on discount and price that dumbs down brands and leaves no excess for reinvestment.
