Creating the 7 hits – raise brand awareness

Which techniques do you employ to obtain your 7 hits rule of thumb for your brand? Guidelines suggest that this is the number we need to have to increase awareness of our organisation and build credibility in the minds of the target market. It does make total sense. It takes time to build awareness. So what do you use in your business to consumer or your business to business markets? Direct contact, Facebook, Linked In, YouTube, direct mail (making a comeback), exhibitions, sales team, PR, advertising , database etc. And how do you schedule them over the year?
