Who looks after your database?

03/12/2010

It is obvious really.  If you have an up to date database of customers who might buy form you again and you know

• What they buy
• When they are likely to purchase
• Their location or sms or e mail

It seems obvious that this is an inexpensive way to connect with them and to build the repeat sales of your business.

The implication is data capture, data recording and someone to manage the
process, ensuring that every customer interface links in to the gathering and cleansing process.

Easier said than done – unless everyone in the organisation understands the process and its importance.
