Marketing for small and medium sized companies – a formula

Just completed a programme for food and drink companies in the north for Highland and Islands Enterprise.   What did they get out of it that made it worthwhile?

• Formal session on marketing and sales and how it may apply to their business.
• The chance to see products in their selling environment, - in stores etc
• A learning journey visit to a wholesaler, PR company, supermarket, delicatessen, exhibitions, internet shopping agency

• One to one sessions to discuss individual cases

• Formal session to finish with branding speakers.

Run over 3 months, the value is that it brings a focus on marketing and sales for 3 months in a row – almost like continuous professional development.   Feedback has been excellent - ‘inspired’ and’ stimulated’ being the most frequently used words.
