Well thought through and measureable marketing and sales plans are crucial to the development of a good business.  Every hour or every pound spent on the activity needs to yield a response and be recognised in terms of the value it brings. As in any profession, there are tips, techniques and skills that are specialist and can help move you up the growth ladder more quickly. 

The difference between a good timetabled marketing action plan and an indifferent one is easy to see in terms of results.  Plan the marketing for each and every product or service and target to key markets is the start point of the answer.   It is also important to have a multi channel strategy with strong messages and good imagery.

The summer may be the time to take stock and plan for the next season.
