23/04/2010If you do decide to write an introductory e mail or even a snail mail letter, here is a format for a single page initial approach. The objective for this template is to get an appointment, not to sell the full product or service range!!!
THE TEMPLATE
- W avelength – headline – make it arresting and relevant to the customer
- I nterest – say something of interest to the customer – not necessarily about you or your product.
- S ell benefits – the benefits of your product or service, not the features
- C reate conviction – case studies, reasons why others have used you
- D esire – create reasons for people to want the product now!
- A ction – call to action. When you will call them
