Key tips in writing a sales communication - WISCDA

23/04/2010

If you do decide to write an introductory e mail or even a snail mail letter, here is a format for a single page initial approach.  The objective for this template is to get an appointment, not to sell the full product or service range!!!

THE TEMPLATE

  • W avelength – headline – make it arresting and relevant to the customer

  • I nterest – say something of interest to the customer – not necessarily about you or your product.

  • S ell benefits – the benefits of your product or service, not the features

  • C reate conviction – case studies, reasons why others have used you

  • D esire – create reasons for people to want the product now!

  • A ction – call to action.  When you will call them
