According to the Marketer magazines, birth tourism is big in the USA. Any child born on US soil has citizen rights so there is now a trade for families to have their children born on US soil. A luxury hotel in Manhattan markets birth packages at around 7000 dollars a month. This is a product developed directly to legal changes in the market. Someone has had time to do their research (PEST analysis) to spot a gap created in the market.
