Background
Originally a Border girl, enjoying the country life, education and sport in Melrose & Kelso. Administrative/Finance career in Insurance, Public Sector, Professional Bodies, Electronics, Livestock Trade – taking a break to qualify as a Tennis, Squash & Hockey Coach – finally reverting to Administration & Finance at Russell Ferguson Marketing. Once there, never to leave!
Having been with Russell Ferguson Marketing since 1988 it is difficult to remember background details – all efforts are concentrated on the present!
Role at RFM
Managing all aspects of finance within the company – in other words “Ruling the Roost with an Iron Fist”. No expenditure sanctioned without a PO and a jolly good explanation of “Why we need it?” Focussing on the client receiving ‘Value for Money’ together with improving our ‘bottom line’!
Personal
Committed to RFM. Enjoy and appreciate family, friends, good laughs, tennis, socialising and an odd glass of Tio Pepe with ice! Many good fun yachting holidays have been experienced, unfortunately ‘Hughie’ has intervened and it is now a no go area! A trip to Rothsay on the ferry is not quite the same as going aground in Rothesay Harbour with a very irate skipper!
