Going Social – Building your Fan Following

Social media platforms are evolving so fast, we often hear of business owners labouring over the correct etiquette to engage fans. They have concerns over credibility, negative reviews and all of this before deciding on which and how many platforms to focus on.

The main considerations, are identifying where your target audience are chatting and then concentrating on building trust and content worthy of that audience. The only thing you stand to lose is the time investment. 

All the well recognised viral campaigns have one thing in common. They have an original story told well to an army of growing fans. Whilst it’s not always as straight forward as that, it does indicate that a well thought through social marketing engagement strategy can break through the noise.  

Focus on trust, and quality of content when you’re building out the editorial calendar.
